Abstract

This research makes a general study of hair in connection with shapes shown in works of Russian constructivism that are picture, drawings, sculpture and architecture and recognize asymmetric structure shown in hair style by analyzing how the characteristics of asymmetric structure was represented and are expressed now so as to contribute future hair trend analysis. This paper is based on leading paper about asymmetric structure, reference books, and pictures and approaches to asymmetric structure of hair style and collects mass media as a material for this research. Results of analysis about asymmetric structure in modern hair style are as follows. First, Both style, fixed, simple and serious image and atypical style are shown simultaneously. Second. active, fine and refinement which are characteristics of asymmetric structure are expressed in hair style. Third, asymmetric structure in men’s hair style seems to be refined or smart and in woman’s hair style, it seems to be refined if she has pretty image and to be cute and active if she has charming image.
